Been listening to alot of Jimmy Eat World today, along with the new Girl Talk, and Pearl Jam. The Pearl Jam stems from one of the best concerts I have ever been to. Last week PJ played 3 hours of songs that brought memories, and I sung my heart out to ever song. I knew every word, and listened intently to every note played. They didnt even bother to play some of thier biggest songs, instead they trotted out some fan favorites such as Release (which they opened with), Garden, Rats, and many more. It was brilliant.
The GirlTalk, is because of my buddy Justin's insistance that it is brilliant. He is correct, the new disc is just great. It intruiges me how the dude behind GT comes up with these ideas to mix certain songs seemlessly.
As for JEW, it was played in the car last night and just makes me smile, so I decided to listen to all of the discs and smile more.
As for life, Juice and I spun a great set on saturday at Royal Oak. Seriously great. I don't think I have had that much fun spinning in a long time. All of the songs were chosen carefully, the people were dancing all night long, and i just fely right. Minus the asshole bartender.
At the moment I am trying to figure out the rest of my summer after Thursday night. Thursday night Juice and I are spinning again, this time at Angels & Kings. But after that, I might be getting on a plane and leaving for tour. Need to finalize this part of my life by tomorrow morning.
Arg, Decisions.

That's if you've still got one that's left inside that cave you call chest.
Yeah I felt that today I needed to start it off with a My Chemical Romance quote. Spent some time rediscovering the first disc in the past few days and remembering the feeling I got the first time I fell in love with it. So awesome, plain and simple.
Which brings me to last Friday, not yesterday, but last week Friday. Saw them headline MSG, and kill it. I mean KILL it. They were simply amazing. Watching a band grow from playing in tiny little clubs, to killing it at MSG is great. Congrats to them and everyone involved with them.
that was how I started last weekend. The calm before the storm. The storm came in, blew me around, settled in my chest, and waited to be released. When it finally was, I found myself a freakin mess. I finally seem to be coming out it, thank god. Such a pleasing feeling. Over the past few days to relieve the confusion, I have been working my ass off, and immersing myself in it. better to bury the brain in work, then let the brain sit and over analyze everything and drive me insane. As the storm passes, and my mind eases, a semblance of normalcy begins to settle in again.
Over the past week, I have seen many old friends again. That might be the most calming thing I could ever ask for. The joy of hanging out and the telling of stories and memories.
God bless the friends who have stuck around and made this life worth living.
I think that an IGNITE lyric fits best here at the end, so yeah, I'll go with that:
" Acquaintances, they don't stick around, I can only count my true friends on one hand. "
Well maybe more than one hand, but ya know what I mean.

Ahem
Bordem has set in at work. Trying to figure out what to do next is the question of the moment.
I find it truly interesting this "blogging" thing. I mean, I used to do it years ago on livejournal, and now its huge and sprawling. I truly can't think of anyone who doesn't blog. It is kind of disgusting, but whatever. It is a social disease that doesn't kill. But maybe it does. Maybe it kills the artistic spirit of actually physically writing something down. I prefer to do it here because most of the time my handwriting is so illegible that even I can't read it a day after it is written.
I think will use this space to also re-post blogs from elsewhere and look back and comment on my life and how it has changed, or stayed the same.
Alas, I am joining the "blog revolution", albeit fashionably late.
That's how I roll.
